Recipe for Chicken in Beer Batter
Ingredients for Chicken in Beer Batter: 24 oz of boneless, skinless chicken breast halves.
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour.
1 teaspoon of baking powder.
2 eggs, beaten.
Half a cup of beer.
3 cups of oil.
Chicken in Beer Batter preparation instruction: Rinse the chicken and slice into one-inch strips. In a bowl, stir together one cup of flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. Mix in the beer and two eggs.
Heat the oil in a deep heavy skillet to 375F.
Place the remaining half cup of flour in a small bowl. Coat the chicken strips in flour and then dip them into the batter. Fry a few at a time in hot oil, turning once until the coating is golden brown on both sides. Remove, and keep warm until serving.
